Rage outrageously sad okay not truly sad but…

I STILL think the game should get a 9 out of 10 since it delivers in gameplay … i have yet to see how short or long it is.. if its very short perhaps the 8 that it gets is fair enough.

what can i say.. a very fun and interesting game but everything else is below medium avrage at best

I wish that someone would make a game like this only have teh vastness and replay ability like borderlands.. the graphics of this game.. the depth of fallout 3 and a true rpg game .. that never seems to end..non linear

rage did touch upon these but never truly fulfilling them….

I enjoyed everything .. needless to say the graphics and lighting .. no dyniamic lighitng either.. it was all very avrage ..
wht makes this game worth playing that its fun.. its nothing new

this game is nothing new… if there is something in this game that seems new is only because it is using things that were in other games..

in my rating of this game is that id software nad related missed the boat… and this game became a avrage game to me.. a rental… .
it seems more like a short version of what it could have been…

I truly hope rage 2 will involve several larger maps and aerias having better textures and now a deeper weapon system .

This years so called ambitious titles such as DNF and RAGE seem to have really made something worth calling barely sharware version of what we envisioned them to be and perhaps this is just a taste of what is to come.. therefore i will hope that what will come will not only be avrage but will include the best of the best
after all these two game companies did bring us to where we are it is sad if even they can not hold up that caliber of expectation.. then we really need new companies to step forward and helping out the progression

this is what i think….

i think that carmack went back to the alien formula with doom 3 and made the imps like aliens and they sounded like aliens… and the levels were all boxy again like wolfenstein just as tom hall noticed that after wolf 3d it was not nice to have those boxy levels.. but doom 3 was boxy to me.

This is what i think will make doom 4 great… to go back to doom 1 2 formula and add everything it can intoit from rpg elements to openworld .. to being able to use a lot of things … something deeper and meaningful ..
i doubt any game company has ever pulled off what ID software pulled of with doom at their time with their technology it was a HUGE jump and leap in developement .. it was worlds apart from its competitors and even from its own alphas and developement the end result is nothing but breath taking.

Doom 3 and rage didnt come that close.. altough i must give credit to rage bringing back the fast paced action but it was humpered with all the buggs and flaws that kind of made rage boring to me also it still was a bit boxy

i am making maps for duke nukem 3d now and i see how much level design affects gameplay , mch more then i thought..
you can go download classic doom 3 which is a mod for doom 3 and you will see that it changes the game , many say doom 3 should have been like doom to begin with .. have a test at classic doom its a great mod but never finished.

WITH THE NEW ATI DRIVERS BYOU CAN PLAY RAGE MUCH MORE STABLE !

PLAY RAGE now .. although its too late but now it can be enjoyed , until we come across more instability.

I have not finished the game so now i can try again.

I played the Rage demo, and hated it. Same with Doom 3.

Not ashamed to admit, I didn’t like any of id’s games after Quake 3 (even that was dubious at times).
